Product Manager

Genius Sports

Jan 2025 — Present

I lead product for Genius Sports’ AI and computer-vision tracking platforms, owning strategy, prioritization, and execution for a global, real-time system supporting billions of viewers. I scaled the flagship platform from 20 to 300+ B2B customers (~$40M ARR) while materially improving unit economics through automation, hybrid human–AI workflows, and reliability investments that achieved 99.99%+ availability. My focus is building cost-aware, scalable AI platforms that operate reliably under live, high-stakes conditions.

Genius Sports

Apr 2022 — Jan 2025

I owned execution for the 0→1 AI platform Dragon (aka Genius IQ), guiding the product from research prototype to production deployment. I defined early quality standards, created tight feedback loops between research, engineering, and operations, and onboarded the first 20 enterprise customers. To support global scale, I trained a 500+ person operations organization and helped operationalize AI systems across multiple regions and leagues.

Chatbot Metrics & Observability

The AI assistant available at the top of this page is part of a hands-on project I built to deepen my understanding of how LLM-based products are designed, evaluated, and iterated in real-world settings. The system combines a lightweight LLM with a RAG pipeline grounded in my professional and personal history, and is intentionally instrumented with evaluation metrics such as faithfulness, relevance, and naturalness. These metrics help surface failure modes, assess response quality, and guide iterative improvements—reflecting the responsibilities of a product manager working on LLM-powered systems. The long-term goal of the project is to continuously refine the system toward consistent 90th-percentile performance, while developing stronger intuition around the tradeoffs between retrieval, generation, and user experience.
